Documentary filmmaker and interactive producer based in Toronto whose work builds on lifelong interests in immigration, diversity, and social justice issues. Marc is the co-creator of “The World in Ten Blocks” (2016), a feature-length interactive documentary that explores the diversity of Toronto's Bloorcourt neighbourhood through the stories of its immigrant small business owners, which was featured at Hot Docs , Sheffield Doc/Fest, and launched episodically in partnership with The Globe and Mail. Marc is the co-founder of Lost Time Media, whose recent interactive work includes “League of Exotique Dancers Interactive” (2016), which was produced for Toronto's Emmy Award-winning Storyline Entertainment. Lost Time Media has collaborated on a diverse range of projects, including “Queerstory” (2014), a geo-locative mobile app that uses 40+ short documentaries to explore the queer history of Toronto, and “Collective Threads” (2017), an online resource of immigration-themed videos produced by the Textile Museum of Canada. Marc's most recent film is "The Head & The Hand" (2018), which had its World Premiere at Hot Docs and was listed by DOC NYC as one of the top twelve contenders for the Academy Awards Documentary Short category. Lost Time Media is currently producing a cross-media documentary on police brutality and accountability issues in Calgary in partnership with CBC, NFB, and others.
